Government Assistance – Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

A helping hand

The Australian Government offers Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to help eligible families reduce the cost of childcare.

What is CCS?

CCS is a government payment that helps cover part of your childcare fees. The amount you receive depends on your family income, activity level (such as work or study), and the type of care your child attends.

How it works

If approved, CCS is paid directly to our centre, reducing your weekly fees. You simply pay the remaining “gap” amount.

How to apply

To receive CCS:

  • Enrol your child in an approved childcare service (such as Younique Early Learning)

  • Create or log into your MyGov account and link it to Centrelink

  • Submit your CCS claim online

Need help?

Our friendly Centre Managers are happy to support you through the process. We can help estimate your subsidy, explain your fees, and guide you step by step.

You can learn more about CCS and other family support programs (including Jobs, Education and Training – JET assistance) through Services Australia and the Department of Education websites.
