Kendo (剣道)

Kendo is one of the oldest Japanese martial art, swordsmanship (kenjutsu).

 

Kendo is an activity that combines martial arts practices and values with strenuous sport-like physical activity. It is a sport that places great importance on etiquette. It covers more than just the physical and competitive aspects of sport activities. Martial arts practice provide unique mental and emotional lessons for kids.

 

How can children benefit from learning kendo?

At Younique, apart from basic sports lessons, we will also offer basic kendo lessons to our pre-kinder and kindergarten as extra-curriculum.
