Safe & Secure Environment

At Younique Early Learning Centre, your child’s safety, wellbeing, and protection are our highest priorities. We are committed to creating a secure, nurturing, and clean environment where children feel safe, respected, and supported every day.

We have zero tolerance for any form of child abuse, neglect, or harm. Our centre strictly follows the Child Safe Standards, comprehensive Child Protection policies, and the ECA Code of Ethics. All educators are mandatory reporters and receive ongoing training in child safety, wellbeing, and professional conduct. Every team member follows a clear Code of Conduct, ensuring respectful, professional interactions at all times.

To support strong relationships and consistency of care, we employ permanent educators only—we do not use casual staff. Personal mobile phones are not permitted in learning areas, supporting children’s privacy and safety. CCTV operates throughout the centre for added security.

Our centre is accessed via single secure entry using keypad or swipe-card access, with no external access to outdoor areas. Children’s arrivals and departures are recorded daily, and children are released only to authorised adults aged over 18.

Regular risk assessments, equipment checks, and hygiene procedures help maintain safe learning environments. All educators hold current Working With Children Checks or VIT registration and are fully trained in First Aid, asthma, and anaphylaxis management. Emergency procedures, including lockdown and evacuation plans, are clearly documented and practised regularly.
